The Scope of the Role

As HR Business Partner, you will be a key member of our Club management team—partnering with Group People Team and functional leaders to deliver a seamless and world-class employee experience. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, supporting both strategic growth and day-to-day people operations.

You will help shape a culture of accountability, kindness, and integrity—ensuring that our people practices reflect the sophistication and warmth that define 67 Pall Mall.

Key Deliverables

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with the General Manager and department heads to implement and embed people strategies that support business objectives and Club performance.
  • Provide insight and guidance on team scheduling, workforce planning and talent development.
  • Influence and coach leaders to foster high-performing, engaged, and inclusive teams.
  • Partner with the Group HR Director and Global People Team to drive new employee engagement, culture transformation and talent development initiatives.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for managers and team members on all employee relations matters.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen our culture, enhance engagement, and celebrate success.
  • Support the rollout of Group-wide HR and L&D programmes and initiatives in the Club.
  • Lead Quarterly Employee Engagement Forums in London, and take active role in delivering online Global Forums alongside your global HRBP peer group.

Talent & Performance

  • Champion a culture of continuous feedback and growth through effective performance management and development planning.
  • Partner with the club’s leadership team to attract, assess, and retain exceptional talent aligned with our brand and values.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning across the business.
  • Proactively drive monthly check-in, quarterly development and bi-annual reward conversations within the Club.

Learning & Development

  • Work closely with the Group HR Director to design and deliver meaningful learning opportunities that inspire excellence.
  • Promote a growth mindset and a commitment to lifelong learning across all levels of the club.
  • Actively engage with the 67 Pall Mall Leadership & Wine Academy projects.
  • Drive all compliance training initiatives.

HR Operations & Policy

  • Ensure all UK HR policies and practices are compliant, consistent, and aligned with our brand tone and values.
  • Provide pragmatic, solution-focused HR advice to managers and employees.
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions, and measure impact.
  • Work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to maintain all people platforms.

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally within hospitality, luxury, or multi-site operations.
  • A minimum of CIPD Level 5
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law (international experience desirable).
  • Exceptional relationship-building, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, calm, and professional approach to problem-solving.
  • A genuine passion for people, culture, and the art of hospitality.
