Contract: Full Time
Hours: as required, dependent on the events schedule

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Events Executive to join the founding location of the 67 Pall Mall Members’ Club, situated in the heart of London’s St. James’s.

67 Pall Mall is a private members’ club founded by wine lovers, for wine lovers, and is home to the finest wine list in the world. Our Events team plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional member experience, and we are now seeking a vibrant, proactive individual to join the team on a full-time basis.

With over 5,000 wines from 52 countries, including 1,200 available by the glass, the award-winning 67 Pall Mall is internationally recognised as the home of fine wine.

The Club is supported by a 19-strong sommelier team, many of whom are winners of international competitions and regularly voted among London’s top sommeliers. Members benefit from a low-margin wine list, private wine storage in our original 1930s bank vault, and access to an extensive and diverse events calendar.


Duties & Responsibilities

The Events Executive will support the smooth planning, coordination and delivery of the Club’s events programme. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing bookings within the Club’s private events spaces
  • Preparing accurate and detailed function sheets for all events
  • Producing a weekly breakdown of the following week’s events
  • Monitoring ticket sales on a daily basis and sharing updates with the team ahead of the 10am morning meeting
  • Communicating changes in ticket sales to the wider team and implementing necessary adjustments
  • Adding and removing events on the events website page as required
  • Uploading event products to the website and relevant webpages
  • Managing the Events inbox and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Managing the Events notice board in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Overseeing Music Sundays and Kids Sundays
  • Researching competitor clubs and similar venues to inform future event planning and idea generation
  • Assisting with external events, including the annual Summer Party
  • Maintaining awareness of key dates, sporting events and the marketing calendar (e.g. World Cup, Wimbledon, Mother’s/Father’s Day, English Wine Week)
  • Monitoring office supplies (paper, ink) and reordering when necessary
  • Providing administrative and operational support to the Head of Events
  • Supporting the Events Planner and providing cover when required
