Senior Marketing Manager Care – AHH

                                    Fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover)

REPORTING TO:          Marketing Director

LOCATION:                  Bournemouth

POSITION SUMMARY

AHH has a simple yet bold plan to solve the housing crisis for those who need it most: key-workers, first-time buyers and last-time homeowners. Aligning the interests of investors, developers, government and, most importantly, ordinary people, we will create something extraordinary, a viable solution that provides value for everyone.

To support our mission, the Senior Marketing Manager Care is responsible for owning those customers that have or will develop care needs, through the development of products, propositions, and marketing campaigns for our care products and services that include Encore Care Homes, Assisted Living, Domiciliary Care and Wellbeing and Support services that help our customers live well.  Responsible for delivering growth in customers through marketing activity, and ultimately measuring the effect in driving sales, generating leads, delivering prospects and supporting conversion working closely with the Sales Team. 

To deliver high quality care, requires great people, and the Senior Marketing Manager Care will be responsible for developing the employer brand of our care businesses, developing the proposition and key messaging, and driving the recruitment of staff through integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with the recruitment team.  The Senior Marketing Manager Care will play a key role in the attraction of service providers to the AHH People Platform, creating a not-for-profit care and support solution for AHH homeowners and residents

Being an expert at understanding audiences, gathering market insight, and developing proposition and messaging frameworks, you will be able to create both an over-arching story for AHH Care as well as specific propositions for each customer type.

Expertise of driving commercial success through customer-led thinking, campaign integration across channels and use of customer data to drive decision making and targeting is essential for this role. 

This is a demanding and exciting role. We’re looking for someone passionate about marketing who wants to bring their previous success into this dynamic and entrepreneurial business.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·        Deliver a pipeline of prospective purchasers through customer acquisition, nurture and sales enablement to ensure we deliver our commercial targets.

·        Champion a deep understanding of the customer and sector, connect relevant consumer and market insights to the development of propositions and marketing campaigns.

·        Own the development of the AHH care brands and manage the creation and delivery of all aspects of  branding, collateral and content.

·        Create a marketing plan designed to deliver the occupancy / sales requirements of the business, whilst optimising spend and manage delivery of the plan online and offline.

·        Integrate traditional and performance marketing to drive digital transformation of marketing communications and the customer experience.

·        Understand and map the customer purchase journey and provide content and ideas to drive customer acquisition and engagement.  Create marketing messages, collaterals and sales enablement tools that drive lead capture and conversion

·        Create a best-in-class experience for each customer group across the communication touch-points both online and offline – using CRM to orchestrate each step.

·        Provide the brief and direction, from your knowledge of the customer, customer journey and competitor market, for PPC advertising, SEO and social media activity. 

       Project manage campaigns from insight to deployment working collaboratively with the rest of the marketing team to ensure they meet the target objectives.

        Brief and oversee the work of a mix of in-house and outsourced marketing resources and agencies who will deliver much of the campaign activity and marketing initiatives

    Work with the recruitment manager to promote AHH and its brands as a leading employer in the care sector and create and deliver campaigns that drive employee attraction.

       Lead the development of PR initiatives, content, collaterals and experiences to engage, inform, and persuade our customer and influencer groups.

      Mange the AHH Care marketing budgets for each of the care businesses, keeping within agreed budgets.

      Deliver regular reports of Marketing results, integrating analysis from all channels and evaluation of KPIs

 

PERSON REQUIREMENTS

·        5+ years’ experience in marketing, with a proven track record of brand development, and business growth.

·        Experienced at identifying customer and market insights, using them to shape brand, proposition and messaging.

·        Understands customer and user journeys, mapping processes and a track record of driving improvement of acquisition and conversion

·        Extensive experience leading integrated marketing campaigns from inception to completion.

·        Extensive experience executing marketing campaigns across traditional and digital media channels and optimising results

·        Strong understanding of PR and Social channels to drive engagement and support.

·        Experience of operating at a managerial level within a marketing team, co-ordinating activity and driving action through internal and external resources.

·        Able to balance strategic development with tactical execution so that sustainable growth is delivered.

·        Strong Marketing communications experience gained in a sales-led environment.

·        Commercially driven – strong analytical skillset with a proven track record in delivering results

·        Must be proficient in combining quantitative and qualitative date to form strategies and inform decision making

·        An ability to work to organisational deadlines and KPI’s.

·        Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, across all levels of the group.

·        Well-organized with an ability to adapt and tackle a wide variety of challenges and tasks.

·        Strong affinity with our core purpose and values; desire to drive positive change and a genuine interest in the affordable housing and healthcare sector.
