You will be expected to lead by example, take ownership and remain visible and engaged throughout service.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You will be actively involved in service while also ensuring the wider team has the direction, support and accountability they need to succeed.

  • Brief the team before service and communicate key information clearly.
  • Allocate sections and responsibilities effectively.
  • Monitor team performance throughout the shift.
  • Coach team members during service and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support new starters through their training and induction.
  • Identify team members' strengths and areas for development.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, punctuality and professionalism.
  • Build a positive and respectful team culture.
  • Encourage teamwork and accountability.
  • Lead confidently while remaining approachable and supportive.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor stock and communicate shortages or operational issues to management.
  • Follow Noble Inns SOPs and operational procedures.
  • Ensure health & safety, food safety and compliance standards are maintained.
  • Support cashing-up and end-of-day procedures where required.
  • Monitor wastage and operational standards.
  • Ensure the venue is left secure, clean and ready for the next service.
  • Escalate operational issues to the appropriate member of management.
LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT SUPPORT:

  • Support the Assistant Manager and General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue.
  • Take responsibility for the venue when senior management are not present.
  • Make confident decisions during service within your level of responsibility.
  • Communicate important service information and issues to management.
  • Support the implementation of company initiatives and new procedures.
