Description

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant, on either a full or part time basis, to join our finance team working specifically within the sales accounts team, supporting with invoicing and the administration of customer accounts.  This is an exciting time to be joining St Austell Brewery and the finance team, as we evolve of our ways of working to ensure maximum efficiency. 

The Role 

  • You will provide administrative support for the business through tasks such as setting up customer accounts, distribution of documents and creditor/invoice reports
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions via daily banking routines
  • Assisting in general financial management administration 
  • Support and contribute to the continued improvement of processes and procedures to improve efficiency
About You 

  • You have a strong background in administrative roles, ideally within a similar function
  • You have experience in a role where a variety of tasks have been undertaken
  • Confident with MS Office in particular Outlook and Excel 
  • Strong attention to detail  
  • Can escalate as required and communicate across all levels of seniority 
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
