Description

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our finance team, ensuring outstanding debt is controlled, cashflow is monitored, and risk is managed effectively. You will be involved specifically with our tenanted estate, private rent and staff accounts. 

This vacancy is for a fixed term of 12 months, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

This is an exciting time to be joining St Austell Brewery and the finance team, as we evolve of our ways of working to ensure maximum efficiency. 

The Role 

Working closely with the wider finance team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Communicating with customers via telephone and email to take payment and collect overdue arrears Investigating and resolving any customer queries that are preventing payment being made 
  • General administration such as updating credit terms and conducting credit searches 
  • Communication with members of our sales teams to provide up to date relevant information to support them when they conduct site visits 
  • Agree repayment plans with customers who have difficulty in paying 
  • Ensuring the companies credit risk policy is adhered to 

 About You 

  •  Ability to analyse and interpret data using a variety of tools. 
  • Passionate and excited about change and challenges. 
  • A strong communicator and able to escalate issues when required. 
  • Inquisitive and enjoy problem solving. 
  • Experience of MS Office suite including Excel. 
  • Great customer service skills. 
  • Strong team player, with an ability to work supervised and with your own initiative.
