We’re looking for a Systems Support Apprentice to join our IT team for a minimum fixed term of 18 months, to support the systems that power our managed pub estate.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career — particularly if you’ve worked in a pub, restaurant or customer-facing environment and are curious about how systems, menus and pricing work behind the scenes.
You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting EPoS systems, menu launches, promotional setups and new system rollouts, while completing a structured apprenticeship qualification.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting the day-to-day performance of EPoS systems across our managed pubs
Assisting with product and pricing setup to ensure pubs can trade effectively
Helping plan and launch promotional activity (e.g. seasonal campaigns and key trading dates)
Supporting testing and go-live of new menus
Logging and tracking system queries and escalating where required
Assisting with the rollout of new systems and supporting training coordination
Building positive working relationships with General Managers and internal teams
What we’re looking for
An interest in technology and how systems support hospitality operations
Previous pub, restaurant or customer-facing experience (advantageous but not essential)
Comfortable using digital systems and basic software tools
Strong attention to detail
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
Clear communicator with a proactive approach
Eagerness to learn and complete an apprenticeship qualification
You’ll gain
A recognised level 3 apprenticeship qualification (equivalent to 2 x A-Levels)
Practical experience working in a commercial IT environment
Exposure to EPoS systems, menu configuration and system rollouts
A clear pathway into a Systems Co-ordinator role
Additional Info:
