ABOUT US

BVC Hospitality is a leading hospitality company, home to renowned brands such as NAC, Le Cafe NAC, 74 Duke, Crème, and Supernova. We are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food, beverage, and service in vibrant, welcoming spaces.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on, and highly organised Maintenance Supervisor to support the upkeep, safety, and smooth operation of our venues.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on operational role responsible for coordinating and carrying out maintenance activities across BVC Hospitality venues.

You will act as a key point of contact for day-to-day maintenance issues, ensuring faults are assessed, prioritised, and resolved efficiently. You will work closely with venue teams to ensure all sites are safe, operational, and maintained to a high standard.

We are seeking someone with strong practical maintenance knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will be comfortable completing minor repairs directly, supervising contractors, supporting planned preventative maintenance, and helping reduce recurring maintenance issues across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities across BVC Hospitality venues.
  • Act as a key point of contact for maintenance requests, ensuring issues are assessed, prioritised, and resolved promptly.
  • Carry out general repairs and minor maintenance works where appropriate, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, and equipment repairs.
  • Monitor maintenance reporting systems and ensure all requests are updated and closed within agreed timescales.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance, safety, and operational issues.
  • Support the delivery of the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme.
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
  • Check contractor attendance, completed works, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate asset, maintenance, and compliance records.
  • Support statutory inspections, audits, and remedial works relating to fire safety, gas, electrical systems, water hygiene, and other compliance requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels of tools, equipment, and essential maintenance materials.
  • Identify recurring faults and recommend practical, long-term solutions.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and support venues during operational emergencies.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
  • Support new venue openings, refurbishments, and maintenance projects when required.
  • Provide updates to the Facilities Manager on outstanding issues, contractor performance, and maintenance priorities.
  • Support and guide maintenance operatives or technicians where applicable.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintenance Experience – Proven experience in a maintenance, engineering, or facilities role, ideally within hospitality or another fast-paced multi-site environment.
  • Hands-On Technical Skills – Practical knowledge of general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, and equipment repairs.
  • Health and Safety Awareness – Good understanding of safe working practices and general UK health and safety requirements.
  • Highly Organised – Strong planning, prioritisation, and record-keeping skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong Communicator – Able to communicate clearly and professionally with venue teams, managers, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Proactive Problem Solver – Takes ownership of issues, responds calmly under pressure, and focuses on practical solutions.
  • Flexible and Reliable – Willing to travel between venues and respond to urgent operational requirements when necessary.
  • IT Skills – Comfortable using maintenance reporting systems, email, spreadsheets, and compliance tracking platforms.
WHAT WE OFFER
  • Work-life balance, flexible working arrangements, and meals on shift.
  • Generous discounts, including 50% off across all BVC Hospitality venues and hospitality discounts through the CODE app.
  • Enhanced benefits, including company sick pay, maternity and paternity leave, and holiday pay.
  • Recognition and rewards celebrating long service and outstanding performance.
