About us
We have launched two brand new entertainment venues in the very centre of London; breathing live music back into Soho and ushering in a new era for Denmark Street - the iconic birthplace of British counterculture.
Four levels below ground, and right next to Tottenham Court Road tube station, we have created HERE - a cutting edge 2000 capacity space to host incredible live concerts, club nights, comedy, arts and culture; alongside high profile events, launches, fashion shows and film screenings.
About the role
You will be part of the venue operations team reporting to the Venue Management.
You will be responsible for ensuring the venue operates as a best-in-class entertainment space for live music, club nights, comedy, and private events.
You will be expected to:
· Set up the venue, liaising with the Production and Senior Venue Management team to ensure all areas of event advance are complete.
· Be a point of contact for the promoter / show rep, to ensure they are greeted on arrival – and shown around our space.
· Set up Green Rooms with Rider, accounting for all stock on system.
· Completing all FOH Floor and backstage checklists.
· Ensure guestlist and ticket manifest is available for Duty Manager, 2 hours prior to doors.
· Create pass/accreditation sheets.
· Create set time poster for public events, ensure communicated to wider team and placed in location around venue.
· Assist the Senior Venue Management team with the smooth operation of all areas of the business during service – including (but not limited to), guestlist/box office, cloakroom and backstage.
· Assist with ensuring FOH areas are cleaned/maintained to a high standard between, and during live events – reporting any maintenance concerns to Senior Management.
· Collate freelance and contractor sign in/out sheets for review by General Manager.
· Schedule staff where required, to be within budget and operational requirements.
· Alongside other managers, be responsible for the operational delivery of events.
· Assist in managing assigned departments, tracking individual team performance against KPIs, and assisting with 1 to 1s.
· Hire, train, upskill and mentor employees at different stages of their career and foster a nourishing work environment
