Full Time Position: Franchise Area Director
Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Vice President of Operations
Position Summary:
Collaborates with the company and their franchisees as a business partner and consultant. Helps the franchisee grow their business by building strong professional partnerships, focusing on brand standards, assessing and measuring service and operational standards, sharing best practices and providing coaching, training and candid feedback.
Works with Franchisee’s on building infrastructure to support the brand and their organization. Provides support in identifying new locations and works with Franchisee’s on preparing site packages for SRC. Provides support to franchisees using project planning process and timeline to ensure successful new restaurant openings. Provide support, consultation and assessment to assigned franchise organization(s) and locations to build profitable sales, consistently meet Brand standards and promote a strong and healthy business. Additionally, provides operational assessments to validate that brand standards are consistently being met to protect brand reputation. Provides timely communication to the company in the event of critical incidents or issues or trends with a franchisee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (What you will drive everyday):
· Bring the HHC brand to life every single day — making sure our guests feel the energy, passion, and quality we’re known for!
· Be the go-to person for all things HHC for franchisees, Operators and Managers.
· Acts as liaison between the company and the franchisee to leverage resources, promote best practices and align business objectives.
· Provides consultation to continuously improve operational effectiveness, guest satisfaction, sales and profitability.
· Conducts operational and food safety assessments.
· Utilizes reporting and tracking tools to analyze results, identify trends and provide analysis and recommendations to franchisees to achieve business results.
· Achieves targeted sales growth for assigned franchise restaurants.
· Builds strong relationships with franchisees based on candor, trust and results-orientation to promote franchise satisfaction and confidence.
· Assists and validates successful rollout and integration of system-wide programs, initiatives and rollouts.
· Provides timely, constructive feedback for performance improvement. Recognizes and celebrate franchisee’s accomplishments and contributions.
· Documents and reports critical incidents and franchise issues.
· Follows company policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others.
· Provides regular leadership on cross-functional projects with system impact. Provides leadership and business solutions at a strategic level for assigned franchise group(s).
· Influences franchise principal.
· Functions as a trainer, coach and mentor for new Franchise Area Directors.
· Keep everyone aligned with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Be flexible and ready to shine on mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays — leadership doesn’t clock out!
· Share daily/weekly updates with the Vice President of Operations to celebrate wins and tackle opportunities.
· Performs other responsibilities as needed.
· Jump in wherever needed — because teamwork makes the dream work!

Education and Experience:
· 5+ years working in a Mulit-Unit franchise organization
· Previous QSR, Fast Casual restaurant experience preferred
· Direct experience working with franchisees highly preferred
· Proven ability to drive same store sales growth, improve franchise profitability, and provide effective P&L coaching
· Basic experience with Microsoft Suite, tablets and POS systems
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time including viewing the screen, using a mouse, and manipulating a keyboard with hands, reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
