Assistant Night Manager

Location:

Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire

The Role:

As part of our Front of House team you will play a critical role in creating the best first and last impression, from welcoming guests on arrival through to waving our guests off at the end of the day, delivering an experience that brings them back again and again.  

This role is key to driving operational success and guest satisfaction in the reception department that features our Porters. The focus of the role is driving the quality standards and incorporating the company’s Vision, Mission and Commitments into the department on a day-to-day basis. Maximising sales, yield and cost management is also a key part of this role.

Role Specification:

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in alignment with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Commitments.
  • Supervise and develop the reception and porter teams, focusing on high-quality service, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Maximise revenue and maintain effective cost management.
  • Maintain high standards for reception duties, including handling financial transactions and guest communications.
  • Ensure team familiarity with all sales procedures and promotions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, appraisals, and training.
  • Encourage innovation and lead changes.
  • Attend meetings and actively participate in departmental improvements.

Your skills and expertise:

·         Strong leadership skills with a focus on team coaching and development.

·         Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication abilities.

·         Adaptability and willingness to embrace change and innovation.

·         Commitment to exceptional customer service and efficient operations.

Shift Patterns:

·         Full-time

·         42.5 hours per week

·         Typical shift pattern: 22:00 – 07:00

·         Please note this is a Nights position. Full flexibility is required as the role will include weekends and Bank Holidays.
