Guest Services & Requirements Assistant

Hoar Cross Hall – Barons Eden

Hoar Cross Hall, part of the award-winning Barons Eden collection, is looking for a Guest Services & Requirements Assistant to join our housekeeping team and help deliver exceptional, personalised experiences for our guests.

This is a hands-on, guest-focused role, ideal for someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys working as part of a team, and has a genuine passion for hospitality.

Please note: This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, and sponsorship will not be provided at any point.

The Role

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper and supported by the Deputy Head Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisors, you will play a key role in ensuring guest requirements are prepared, coordinated, and delivered to the highest standard. From pre-arrival room preparation to maintaining guest-facing areas, you’ll help create a seamless and memorable guest journey.

This role can be offered as one full-time position or two part-time positions, with a total of 64 hours available per week.

  • Working hours: 1:00pm – 9:30pm
  • Working 5 out of 7 days - zero hour contract
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting, recording, and coordinating guest special requirements prior to arrival
  • Liaising with kitchen, bar, and operational teams to ensure requested items and supplies are prepared in advance
  • Delivering guest amenities and special requests to bedrooms before guest arrival
  • Completing turndown services in line with brand standards
  • Cleaning and maintaining public and guest-facing areas to a high standard
  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and accidents promptly
  • Supporting Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Food & Beverage teams during busy periods
  • Providing friendly, professional customer care and responding to guest enquiries

What We’re Looking For

  • A reliable, honest, and professional individual with excellent attention to detail
  • A flexible team player who is willing to support different areas of the hotel as required
  • Someone who takes pride in their appearance, timekeeping, and work standards
  • Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this role
  • Weekend and bank holiday availability is required
