The Public Area Cleaner shall maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness and deliver excellent guest service in line with housekeeping standards. The Public Area Cleaner will embody the company’s Mission, Vision, and Commitments focusing on People, Quality, and Results.

Role Specification:

·         Regular cleaning of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public areas.

·         Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and equipment.

·         Emptying trash bins, replacing liners, and ensuring proper disposal of waste.

·         Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining the cleanliness of floors.

·         Replenishing restroom supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.

·         Notifying management of any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

Person Specification:

Essential

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and handle cleaning equipment.

Desirable

·         Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Shift Patterns:

• 15 hours per week
• 3 days out of 7 per week
• Typical shift pattern: 5am – 10am
• Note: Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business
