Assistant Financial Controller - fixed term contract (nine months)

We are currently recruiting a dynamic Assistant Financial Controller to join our team on a fixed term contract.

Ideally, our new colleague will have experience in a reputable hotel or multifaceted F&B business. The successful candidate will have management experience with the drive and passion to work in a busy and vibrant venue.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Production of daily accurate revenue reports, advising the Management team of any issues.
• Accurate monthly management accounts, debtors/creditors analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist the Financial Controller with the creation of the annual budget and rolling annual forecast.
• Efficient processing of accounting transactions.
• Full audit trails.
• Accurate cash management, notifying the Financial Controller of any discrepancies.
• Oversee Company billing, the Purchase Order system and filing/archiving.
• Maintenance and development of accounting/other reporting systems as required
• Assist in IT projects where necessary.
• Supervisory and workload management of two Accounts team members.
