We’re Honesty Group an independent, sustainability-driven food business with 15 sites across Berkshire & Hampshire. Everything we serve is handmade by our chefs and bakers, using fresh, seasonal, local ingredients wherever possible.
Honesty Group is an independent business operating pubs, restaurants, coffeeshops, and farm shops as well as serving our online and wholesale customers. Opened in 2014, Honesty Group now runs 14 sites across Berkshire and Hampshire, with our strong community-led values, and people-first approach separating us from our competitors. We are committed to holding ourselves to the highest standards with regards to the environment and sustainability, with all our food made by hand by our incredible team of chefs and bakers utilising fresh, seasonal, local ingredients (where possible) and served to our customers by dedicated, healthy and happy staff.
We’re looking for an experienced Coffee Shop Manager to lead our vibrant Wokingham site. Fresh seasonal food, expertly made coffee, and warm hospitality — you’ll make sure every guest leaves smiling while keeping operations slick, your team motivated, and lending a hand in our small, freshly prepared brunch menu when needed.
Why join us:
Fixed days off: Sunday & Monday
Free meal on every shift
20% staff discount across Honesty Group
Discounted Cookery School courses
Join an independent, people-first, sustainability-focused company
Freedom to shape your team and site
Your role:
Lead the shop from first coffee to close
Train, motivate and support your team to deliver great service
Maintain top standards in food, coffee, and presentation
Get hands-on in the 'kitchen' which is located Front of House when needed — assisting with fresh brunch dishes such as smoothie bowls, pancakes, egg dishes, stuffed focaccia, toasties, and soups
Manage stock, rotas, orders, and suppliers
Hit sales targets and control costs
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
You’ll need:
Proven café, coffee shop or casual dining management experience
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Passion for fresh food and quality coffee
Commercial awareness and hands-on approach
Flexibility for weekends and bank holidays
Ready to run a buzzing coffee shop, work alongside your team in the kitchen, and be part of a business that values people and the planet? Apply today.
