WHO WE ARE: We are a Fun French-American Fusion restaurant in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. We serve brunch and dinner plus nightlife & private events on 3 floors including a year round weather proof rooftop. We are looking for a dynamic high-energy Hostess with strong customer service skills to join our team.
WHO YOU ARE: As the Host you are the first face our guests see and interact with. Your previous Host experience has taught you to be hospitable and engaging as you provide guests with estimated wait times/updates. You're confident, remain calm and courteous under pressure and possess strong communication skills. Weekends are a must!
YOU CAN EXPECT TO:
-Always present positive and friendly first and last impressions in both body language and phone conversations
-Greet guests in a warm and sincere manner
-Seat guests accordingly, by monitoring wait list & managing floor chart
-Engage guests in conversation during heavy wait times
-Keep the entrance area clean and welcoming
-Answer telephone with proper phone etiquette
-Fulfill to-go orders
YOU MUST HAVE:
-1+ year NYC restaurant experience
-Weekend availability
-A strong work ethic
-Open Table Experience
