The Botanical Rooms
Hadspen House is the focal point of our estate, housing a 23-bedroom hotel, library, bar and kitchen called the Botanical Rooms. We offer a true, farm to fork dining experience in a beautifully designed, atmospheric 60 cover restaurant. All food is prepared in our kitchen with ingredients fresh from our gardens or locally sourced, ensuring quality and seasonality throughout our offering. Open for breakfast through to dinner, we offer cream tea in the library and early evening cocktails on the terrace. The department extends into the house, encompassing the bar, library, croquet lawn, terrace and badminton court – delivering exceptional service throughout.

Working with our state of the art equipment, our chefs are some of the most passionate and inspirational in the South West. A focus is always on our food - ensuring each dish is as beautiful as the next, with the flavours of each component being highlighted to their full potential. Dishes are always fresh and seasonal, with our chefs using produce both from our Estate garden team and our trusted local suppliers.
Our CDPs play a crucial role in our kitchen. The day-to-day duties of each section will be your responsibility and commis chefs will look to you for guidance and development.
