 Are you passionate about pubs and experienced in managing a diverse property portfolio? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing group as our new Estate Manager.

As our Estate Manager, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of our venues and associated buildings, ensuring all systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general finishes) are maintained to the highest standards and the design integrity of our spaces is preserved. Public house group 

  •   Salary - £55,000 - £65,000 Per annum, dependant on experience.

 What you'll be doing as an Estate Manager: 

You will oversee routine inspections and ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, including managing statutory testing and certifications (e.g., fire systems, emergency lighting, water hygiene).

  • Maintenance & UpkeepRespond promptly to all breakdowns and maintenance requests from guests, staff, and management. Perform regular daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks to ensure proactive upkeep across all venues.
  • Contractor ManagementManage all contractors and tradespeople performing work on products, finishes, plant, and equipment.
  • Planned & Reactive Maintenance Ensure that all maintenance, repair, replacement, and renovation projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety regulations, Oversee all statutory testing and safety systems, including -Electrical testing (e.g., PAT, EICR), Fire alarm and emergency lighting systems and Water hygiene and safety checks
  • Team Leadership & Development Lead, train, and develop the estate maintenance team to ensure high performance and skill development.
  • Cross-Functional CollaborationSupport venue modifications and improvements, ensuring technical and aesthetic standards are met.
  • On-Call Responsibility - Be available by phone for emergency response and crisis management when required.

What we're looking for in our new Estate Manager:

You will have experience in planning, managing, and reporting on maintenance budgets and capital expenditure, with a focus on cost efficiency and value.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in high-end, design-led hospitality environments, with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and aesthetics coupled with high volume commercial kitchens You will also Previous experience managing maintenance teams or external contractors is essential and working knowledge of using Access Maintain (formally Pronet) or similar systems is preferable.

  • Proven experience within a design-led, luxury hospitality environment is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing a robust Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) system with measurable result 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and act with initiative.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, IT, and AV infrastructure.
  • Fourth (workforce management and procurement system
  • Proficient with computer systems and facility management tools, including (but not limited to)
  •  PC and/or Mac operating systems, Trend BMS (Building Management System) and Microsoft Office Suite
This role will be Office and venue based, Monday to Fridays, with availability needed within reason across evenings and weekends
