Description
Great hospitality starts with a great first impression — and that’s where you come in!  We’re looking for a friendly, professional Reservations Agent to join our growing team here at Public house group. 

  • Salary - £30,000  per annum (pro rata) 
  • + Share of service charge (Circa £15,000 per annum full time role) 
3 months fixed term with potential to go permanant.

What you'll be doing in Reservations: 

  • Handle incoming reservations via phone, email, and booking platforms efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide detailed knowledge of our venues, menus, and events to assist guests in making informed booking decisions.
  • Manage group bookings, private dining, and event space enquiries, coordinating with on-site teams.
  • Maintain accurate booking records and support reporting tasks as needed.
  • Upsell experiences and promotions where appropriate to maximise revenue and enhance guest experience.
  • Work collaboratively with venue managers and marketing to ensure smooth service delivery and communication.

About you, our new Reservations agent:

  • Previous experience in a reservations, customer service, or hospitality role (pubs/hospitality group experience a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, helpful manner.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple bookings at once.
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable using booking/reservation systems (such as SevenRooms, tripleseat, or similar).
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a love for delivering great guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Role requires working weekends and evenings on rotation- shift patterns are 9am - 6pm and 12pm - 9pm
