Description

We're on the lookout for an experienced, hands-on, people-loving Restaurant Manager for a high-end neighbourhood restaurant in West London.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be at the forefront of service, leading and mentoring a dynamic team to deliver consistently high standards. Working closely with our General Manager and Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating an atmosphere that is both relaxed and refined—balancing professionalism with warmth.

  • Salary£45,000 - £50,000 per annum including service charge

What you'll be doing as a Restaurant manager:  

You will oversee daily floor operations, manage reservations, coordinate service flow, and ensure the team is motivated, knowledgeable, and aligned.

  •  Supervise, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive and productive work environment.    
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during peak hours, while staying within budgeted labour costs.
  • Actively support and collaborate with the General manager and marketing team to implement promotional strategies and enhance the restaurant's visibility in the local community.  
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, control labour costs, and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.  
  • Ensure the restaurant complies with all conditions of the license, policy and legislation, including health and safety, and maintains a clean and safe environment. 
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction, working closely with kitchen staff to maintain high standards. 

About you, our newRestaurant manager: 

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role in the hospitality industry. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. 
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure. 
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.  
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
