Description

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Manger to support maintenance across our group of pubs.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in keeping buildings safe, functional, and looking their best.  

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all properties are maintained to the highest standards. You’ll manage both planned and reactive maintenance, oversee contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the estate. Public house group 

Salary £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

Working Pattern: 

  • 48 hours per week
  • Flexible work pattern (early mornings, evenings & emergency call-outs)

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Manger

  • Oversee day to day general maintenance and repairs across multiple pub sites.
  • Basic electrics, plumbing, carpentry, painting & plastering
  • Moving between sites as needed on an ad hoc basis
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues to minimise disruption
  • Carry out and manage preventative maintenance schedules
  • Support site managers with maintenance-related queries and solutions
  • Reporting larger issues to Head of Operations
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety, fire safety, and statutory regulations

What we're looking for in our new Maintenance Manger

  • Strong all-round maintenance skills
  • Previous maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality environment
  • Able to work independently and manage workload
  • Organised, reliable, and proactive
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-sufficient with own tools and transport (Desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
