Description

We're looking for a Junior Personal Assistant to join our founders' office at Public House Group (PHG). If you're highly organised and want to learn from the ground up, this could be the perfect first role for you. Given the nature of the role, occasional support outside of the normal working pattern may be required, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to adapt when required.

Who We Are

PHG is a growing hospitality group and the team behind some of London’s most loved pubs and restaurants – The Pelican, The Hero, The Fat Badger, The Hart, Canteen, Cece’s, The Bull in Charlbury and Canteen Oxfordshire. We’re a British hospitality group that care about great food, the farmers who produce it, and the communities our venues sit in.

 The Role

You'll be working directly with our Executive Assistant to support three co-founders across a wide range of tasks.

  • Location: London with occasional travel to Oxfordshire as the role requires.
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00, based in the office

A taste of what you’ll be doing:

  • Handling day to day tasks for the co-founders
  • Running personal errands, managing personal appointments, handling shopping requests
  • Sourcing and sending gifts
  • Assisting with household admin
  • Managing parking, PCNs, and vehicle related admin
  • Researching and booking travel - flights, hotels, ground transport
  • Driving for the co-founders as required, including between London and Oxfordshire
  • Helping with office management - supplies, deliveries, meeting room setup
  • General administrative support across the founders' office
  • NB. This list isn’t exhaustive and a job description will be shared

What We’re Looking For

  • Someone warm, personable, professional, and keen to learn

  • Organised with great attention to detail
  • Discreet and trustworthy
  • A self-starter and tech-savvy
  • Someone genuinely excited by hospitality
  • Happy to travel to our Oxfordshire sites when needed
  • UK driving licence preferred, with confidence driving in London and Oxfordshire
