Description

Welcome to House of Gods Canary Wharf, where velvet decadence meets rock ‘n’ roll glamour.
We’re not your average hotel, and we’re not looking for average people.

We’re on the hunt for a Duty Manager, someone magnetic, commercially sharp, guest-obsessed, and ready to be the steady hand on the floor when the hotel is in full swing. You’ll support the day-to-day operation, lead by example, and make sure every arrival, departure, request, recovery, and late-night moment feels unmistakably House of Gods.

For us, duty management is the heartbeat of the hotel: theatrical, polished, intuitive, commercially aware, and always one step ahead. The expectation is clear, you’ll support the front office, oversee the guest journey, communicate across departments, maintain standards, resolve issues, and keep the operation moving with confidence from early check-ins to late-night returns.

This isn’t your standard duty manager role. It’s VIP arrivals, flawless handovers, room moves, guest recovery, team briefings, upselling, service theatre, problem-solving at pace, and the satisfaction of knowing the glamour lands because you kept every moving part connected.

You are:

  • A confident, charismatic operator who knows how to create a first impression, build team energy, and keep standards sharp when the hotel is moving fast.
  • Experienced in front office, guest services, food and beverage, or luxury lifestyle hospitality, with the confidence to manage shifts, people, guest expectations, and operational pressure.
  • Commercially switched on, able to drive upselling, protect revenue, support service opportunities, and spot the details that turn great hospitality into memorable spend.
  • Calm, organised, and decisive, with the ability to handle guest recovery, complaints, special requests, room allocations, handovers, and late-night challenges with style.
  • A natural coach who can motivate, support, and hold a team accountable while keeping service warm, theatrical, personal, and unmistakably House of Gods.
  • Ready to lead briefings, manage handovers, support rotas, monitor standards, communicate across departments, and make the hotel feel slick from open to close.
  • A lover of luxury hospitality, bold brands, beautiful spaces, flawless service, and guest experiences that never feel ordinary.

We offer:

  • A space built on energy, excess, and absolute style.
  • Real progression for real people.
  • Full training and leadership support.

·        20% accommodation discount.

  • Wagestream – a financial toolkit that lets you access earned pay when you need it.
  • Tronc scheme, paid monthly.
  • Staff recognition programme.
  • Yearly staff ball.
  • A chance to be part of something truly iconic in London’s newest House of Gods.

This isn’t just a job. It’s a lifestyle. Ready to own the shift, sharpen the standards, support the guest journey, and bring serious service theatre to London’s newest House of Gods?
