Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Responsible to: Senior HK Team
Responsible for: Top performance in Housekeeping
Hours: up to 45
SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE: Assist
the Housekeeping team on your shift to exceed the expectations of our guests in housekeeping service
to a five-star standard, by creating unforgettable memories and inspiring and
challenging yourself to deliver them with passion.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guests & Quality
· Prepare the housekeeping of all resort public areas to Forbes 5* standard
· Prepare housekeeping of resort bedrooms to a Forbes 5 * standard
· Assist with washing and ironing of guest laundry to Forbes standard
· Communicate with guests during their stay so their expectations are exceeded.
· Supervise and Assist with Turndown service to a +1 standard
· Report any faults, breakages, or sub-standard quality in rooms to head housekeeper.
· Assist with guest housekeeping requests – Offering GSOI. Genuine sense of Interest,
Team
· Support team members on shift with you so they are working in a positive and productive friendly environment.
· Assist with the cleaning of team bedrooms for new arrivals and team areas
· Assist with the washing of team uniforms
Productivity
· Re-stock and replenish equipment and supplies in the cupboards.
· Request stock items to ensure the shift is efficient without running out of specific items.
· Report faulty machinery and equipment.
· Ensure that room cleaning timed schedules for preparing arrival and stay-over rooms are meet deadlines.
· Follow SOPs and make suggestions as required if efficiency and effectiveness can be improved.
Health & Safety
· Ensure complete compliance of self with Health & Safety regulations.
· Report any failures of health & safety immediately following see it sort it fix it policy.
Sustainability & Environment
· Proactively assist with sustainability in your department in reducing energy consumption, and wastage.
· Recycle all waste appropriately.

· UK passport or pre-settled status/valid visa
· Preferable Housekeeping experience although full training is given
