Department Description

The housekeeping team is responsible for cleaning our guest rooms, taking care of laundry and ensuring all areas for both employees and the public, are spotlessly clean, tidy and safe. 

Position Summary

Our Public Areas Attendants are responsible for looking after our Estate Offices, toilets and our staff accommodation. From time to time, other tasks may be required by our Housekeeping Manager. 

This is a crucial role within an ever-expanding estate and you may be dealing with staff and visitors alike. Therefore, good communication skills are essential as well as a smart appearance. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start your career in hospitality or ease yourself back into employment. There are plenty of progression opportunities here at The Newt. 

Key Responsibilities

• Clean staff offices, including those at our Avalon, Hadspen, Hill view and West Barn sites.
• Clean staff accommodation shared areas and private rooms when an employee moves out.
• Support with any additional tasks

• Valid Driving License is crucial
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products would be beneficial.
• Good physical healthy and stamina
• Ability to work both as a team and using your own initiative
• Ability to follow instruction
• Attention to detail
