**We’re proud winners of the AA Small Hotel Group of the
year 2024-25 and recently crowned Best Employer at the 2025 Springboard Awards for
Excellence**
**Bovey Castle has been awarded LARGE HOTEL OF THE YEAR (2025/26) by Visit Devon**
*Please note: our hotel is in a very remote location and is not accessible by public transport. Live in accommodation available.*
We offer minimum 37.5-hour per week employment contracts, but we understand that everyone’s needs are different. That’s why we’re happy to discuss part-time contracts to fit around your individual schedule.
What We Offer:
What you’ll be doing?
As a Linen Porter, you will play an important role in ensuring our hotel has a consistent supply of clean linen and that used linen is collected and moved efficiently around the hotel.
The role involves regular lifting, carrying and moving of linen throughout the hotel. You will handle both clean and used linen, move linen bags and laundry between different areas of the hotel, and assist with moving and positioning cots and other housekeeping equipment as required.
You will work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure bedrooms and other areas of the hotel have the linen and equipment they need to maintain our high standards.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be comfortable undertaking regular physical activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing and moving linen and housekeeping equipment safely around the hotel.
What you’ll need?
What's in it for you?
At Eden Hotel Collection, we’re proud of our award-winning approach to employee wellbeing, engagement, and recognition (with industry award wins in 2023, 2024 and 2025!)—which means you’re joining a team that values your happiness, growth, and success every step of the way.
A Culture of Collaboration and Care
We work together to create a truly inclusive workplace, where your voice matters, and real change happens:
We’re proud members of the Hoteliers’ Charter, and our team is always at the heart of what we do, guided by our values of Heart, Honesty, Spirit, and Team.
Our commitment to equity means we welcome talent from all backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and we encourage applications from all communities, including underrepresented groups, parents, people living with disabilities, and those bringing diverse perspectives. Join us to experience what it means to work for a values-led, award-winning employer.
