The Role                                                                                                                                                            

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across our hotel rooms and public areas. You’ll lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, conducting thorough inspections and sign-offs of rooms to ensure they are perfectly prepared for guest arrivals.

Responsibilities include

• Ensure that all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet high standards of cleanliness and are well-maintained at all times
• Support and drive housekeeping processes and procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness meets or exceeds established standards
• Address and rectify deficiencies promptly, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel 
• Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, including public area staff 
• Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Required Skills & Experience 

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a supervisor housekeeping role or similar
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure 
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipment
