Enthusiastic individuals are required for The Arts Club Housekeeping team, a cultural hub and leading hospitality venue in the heart of Mayfair, London

Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of London’s most renowned private members’ clubs – a discreet sanctuary for those with a passion for the arts, literature, music and culture

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and secure working environment, this position requires Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks as part of the recruitment process.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the seamless operation of the Housekeeping Department shift by promptly notifying the Executive Housekeeper of any comments, VIP arrivals or departures, and any other relevant issues throughout the day. Uphold the highest standards at all times, striving to exceed expectations whenever possible.

 MAIN DUTIES:

  • To lead by example ensuring work areas are tidy, neat, fully prepared for running of your shift and that a high standard of personal hygiene and dress is maintained.
  • Make yourself familiar with The Arts Club outlets, their opening hours and services offered to ensure correct information is forwarded to Members and their Guests when enquired.
  • Ensure all sensitive information are stored safely and discarded in appropriate way, in particular guest’s details and records.
  • Read Daily Log and ensure all matters are followed up if needed. Update the Log throughout your shift with all necessary information
  • Ensure all work is completed by the end of your shift; checklist and occurring tasks
  • To attend to any guest problems brought to your attention. Report to Executive Housekeeper and Managers on Duty if needed
  • Inform Reception Team when room inspected in order to update Opera.
  • Be responsible for updating guest’s profiles accordingly or informing Reception about the comments necessary to make.
  • To communicate effectively with all departments, to be flexible and assist colleagues where possible. Make good use of the daily log sheet and to ensure the whole team is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen.
