Our Housekeeping Assistant role

As our Housekeeping Assistant, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes, helping to create the clean, welcoming and first-class environment our guests expect from the moment they arrive.

You’ll take pride in preparing crucial areas to the highest standards, ensuring every detail is just right. From fresh linen to thoughtful finishing touches, your work will directly shape how our guests feel during their stay, helping them to feel cared for, comfortable, and at ease.

You’ll be someone who enjoys working independently but thrives as part of a supportive team. Friendly, attentive and reliable, you’ll value the trust placed in you to manage your time and responsibilities once fully trained.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Preparing allocated rooms and areas efficiently and to a high standard.
• Ensuring all guest areas are clean, safe, and inviting at all times.
• Managing guest laundry and linen with care and attention.
• Keeping corridors and service areas clean, tidy and clutter-free.
• Maintaining organised and well-stocked linen cupboards.
• Following procedures for signing keys in and out.
• Adhering to all health and safety, manual handling and COSHH regulations.
•  Supporting new team members with training and guidance.
• Working collaboratively as part of a committed, efficient and dynamic team.

What we’re looking for

• A strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Previous housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards
• The ability to work independently and use your initiative
• Good time management and organisational skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
