We’re looking for a team of Housekeepers to join us for the summer season and care for our collection of holiday lets, with interiors that inspire and sea views that lift the spirits. Each of our properties have one key attribute in common; they are all located within easy walking distance to a beautiful Cornish beach.

Each property is privately owned, and our owners trust us to look after their property and deliver high standards of cleanliness and presentation for guests. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering these standards as part of a modern, progressive and award-winning reputable business. You’ll feel proud of the place you work and the job you do. Spend the summer overlooking the beach in our stunning holiday lets.

Combining deep rooted Cornish roots (as an independent, family-owned company) with a dynamic, forward-thinking mindset (as part of the Watergate Group), you can enjoy the best of both worlds at Beach Retreats. As a group, we are well underway with our journey to B-Corp status, where we are committed to operating as ethically and sustainably as we can.

The role:

Enjoy flexible working where you can pick and choose your shifts. Shifts through the summer season are mainly Friday to Sunday, however other days may be available and are all dependant on availability, to work in the following beachfront locations:

• Watergate Bay - Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability 
• Perranporth - Friday and Saturday availability 
• Newquay - Friday and Saturday availability 
• Mawgan Porth - Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability 
• Hayle - Friday and Saturday availability
• Bude - Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability

Typically working between the hours of 10.00am and 4.00pm gives you the opportunity to enjoy the summer and bask in beauty the Cornish coastline.

Our Housekeepers start work with everything taken care of, including full training and all cleaning materials provided.

About you:

• You’re reliable and good with timekeeping.
• You’re confident in working under your own supervision as well as part of a team.
• You must be able to make your own way to properties, ideally able to drive and have your own transport (or arrange your own lifts).
