We’re looking for a team of Housekeepers to care for our collection of beachside houses and apartments, with interiors that inspire and sea views that lift the spirits. Each of our properties have one key attribute in common; they are all located within easy walking distance to a beautiful Cornish beach.

Each property is privately owned, and our owners trust us to look after their property and deliver high standards of cleanliness and presentation for guests. Therefore, our Housekeepers together with our Property Services team are at the forefront of delivering these standards in a growing and successful business.

Combining deep rooted Cornish roots (as an independent, family-owned company) with a dynamic, forward-thinking mindset (as part of the Watergate Group), you can enjoy the best of both worlds at Beach Retreats. As a group, we are well underway with our journey to B-Corp status, where we are committed to operating as ethically and sustainably as we can.

The role:

This is a permanent, employed role where you will join a supportive team, receive paid holidays, excellent job perks and flexible hours dependent on your availability. We’re looking for Housekeepers to work in the following beachfront locations:

• Watergate Bay - Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability. 
• Perranporth - Friday and Saturday availability. 
• Newquay - Friday and Saturday availability. 
• Mawgan Porth - Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability. 
• Hayle - Friday and Saturday availability.
• Weekdays may also be available in addition dependant on availability.

Our Housekeepers start work with everything taken care of, including full training and all cleaning materials provided.

About you:

• You’re reliable and good with timekeeping.
•  You’re confident in working under your own supervision as well as part of a team.
• You must be able to make your own way to properties, ideally able to drive and have your own transport (or arrange your own lifts).
