Citadines Canal Amsterdam is looking for an enthusiastic, curious and confident Housekeeping Manager Supervisor to join the Ascott Limited’s newest flagship in Europe!

Our Citazens, being the staff of Citadines, stand at the heart of the historic and heritage property that has 93 rooms, gym and guest lounge (providing a food & beverage offering) within the building.

You will report to the Residence Manager, supporting towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.

In the position of Housekeeping Manager, you will be engaged to and responsible for:

• General management of the Housekeeping department, with a primary focus on guest experience and cleaning quality (rooms and public areas)
•  Maintaining strong collaboration with, and supervising, our external housekeeping partner
•  Ensuring compliance and coordination with key departments (front office, engineering/maintenance, etc.)
•   Inventory management of cleaning supplies, staff uniforms, etc.
•   Managing periodic scheduling, and being responsible for deep and exceptional cleaning
•  Ensure that the team is aware and trained to our Health and Safety standards.
• Living the Citadines persona to ensure that our guests have the level of service and standards expected.

To be successful as a Housekeeping Manager, you will:

• Have previous experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping
• Ideally have held a departmental head position and are ready to take the next step in your career
• You are enthusiastic and service orientated
•  You have effective communication skills in written and spoken Dutch and/or English
•  Are a motivated and ambitious, guest-focused individual who enthusiastically motivates, leads, and manages your team.
