Description
Citadines South Kensington London is seeking an experienced and confident Housekeeping Supervisor to become part of our Team. Our properties operate 24/7; therefore, the department works on an early and late shift, on a rotating basis.
You will report to the Housekeeper, supporting towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.
As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Housekeeper on leading the Housekeeping Team, ensuring that the standards of cleaning, hygiene, stock control and staffing are maintained
- Planning, organising and supervising the cleaning services within the property
- Dealing with suppliers, trade associations, outsourced partners, ensuring linen, uniform, consumable and staff costs are within budget
- Supporting the Housekeeper on all departmental communications
- Managing reporting and helping with budgeting for theHousekeeping Team
To be successful in the role of Housekeeping Supervisor, we require:
- Previous cleaning supervisory experience
- Ability to lead and develop teams
- Ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel
- Willingness to learn and work with IT systems quickly
- A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous
