Houston TX Hot Chicken is opening a brand-new location on Camelback Road in Phoenix, and we are building a strong leadership team to support the launch. We are seeking experienced, motivated Shift Leaders / Shift Managers who can lead by example, uphold brand standards, and help set the tone for long-term success from day one.
This role is ideal for leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments, value accountability, and take pride in developing teams while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Shift Leaders / Shift Managers are responsible for overseeing daily operations during their shifts, supporting both Front of House and Back of House teams, and ensuring Houston TX Hot Chicken standards are consistently executed. During a new store opening, this role is critical in establishing expectations around service, food quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Lead shifts by setting the pace, tone, and expectations for the team
Support FOH and BOH operations to ensure speed, accuracy, and quality
Ensure all guests receive fast, friendly, and memorable service
Coach and motivate team members in real time
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout the restaurant
Ensure proper portioning, recipe execution, and ticket accuracy
Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Monitor labor, productivity, and flow during peak periods
Communicate clearly with management and team members
Active participation in training beginning February 15th
Flexibility during opening weeks, including nights and weekends
Ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Willingness to adapt quickly and help establish best practices
Strong sense of ownership and accountability from day one
Previous leadership experience in QSR, fast-casual, or restaurant environments preferred
Strong communication and team-building skills
Ability to lead by example and hold standards consistently
Comfortable working both FOH and BOH as needed
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
