Houston TX Hot Chicken is looking for motivated and dependable Shift Leaders to join our team at our Tempe location. Shift Leaders play a key role in supporting daily restaurant operations, leading team members during their shifts, and ensuring every guest receives the fast, friendly service that Houston TX Hot Chicken is known for.

Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting the management team in running efficient shifts while ensuring Front of House and Back of House operations meet Houston TX Hot Chicken’s standards. This role includes coaching team members, maintaining operational flow during busy periods, and helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly throughout the shift.

• Lead shifts by setting the pace, tone, and expectations for the team

• Support both Front of House and Back of House operations as needed

• Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, and accurate service

• Assist with training and coaching team members during shifts

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant

• Ensure food quality, portion control, and recipe standards are followed

• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed

• Assist with opening and closing duties

• Help manage shift flow, team positioning, and operational efficiency

• Communicate clearly with management and team members

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail
