Job Purpose
We are looking for an inspirational leader who has experience in fast paced and volume operations. Our destination bar and restaurant is a key feature of the hotel and as such we are looking for someone to take this operation forward and truly establish the venue in the local and wider market.
It is expected that candidates will either have hotel or high street / retail restaurant & bar experience and have led a large team and can demonstrate proven success in their previous roles.
This exciting role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to work in an iconic hotel.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations within the hotel
Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and bar teams
Maintain service standards and monitor staff performance
Manage restaurant opening/closing procedures
Supervise inventory, stock levels, and ordering supplies
Train, schedule, and supervise Food and Beverage Team
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and processes
Ensure high-quality dining experience for hotel guests and outside customers
Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
Build guest relationships and gather feedback to improve services
Ensure restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation meet hotel standards
Report low stock and coordinate with management for ordering
Ensure correct storage and handling of products
Monitor usage of supplies and equipment
Check expiry dates and product quality
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
Monitor equipment maintenance and safety procedures
Ensure proper storage and handling of food products
Conduct regular inspections of restaurant areas
