Position Available: Full-Time Senior Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced and highly polished Head Receptionist to be the first point of contact at IGNI, shaping each guest’s journey from the very first interaction.

As the face of the restaurant, you will embody our philosophy of precision, warmth, and refined hospitality—ensuring every guest experience begins and ends seamlessly.


What We’re Looking For

Proven Experience – Previous experience as a Senior Receptionist or Host/Hostess in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment

Exceptional Guest Focus – A natural ability to create meaningful, memorable first impressions and build rapport with guests

Composure & Presence – Calm, confident, and polished, with the ability to manage a busy reception with grace

Attention to Detail – Highly organised with a meticulous approach to reservations, guest preferences, and service flow

Strong Communication Skills – Clear, professional, and warm communication across phone, email, and in-person interactions

Leadership & Accountability – Ability to lead the reception team, set standards, and ensure consistency in guest experience

Passion for Hospitality – A genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellence and elevating every aspect of the guest journey


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the reception team, ensuring a warm, professional, and seamless guest welcome
  • Oversee all reservations, managing bookings, confirmations, and guest requests with precision
  • Maintain and develop detailed guest profiles, recognising returning guests and personalising experiences
  • Coordinate closely with the floor and kitchen teams to optimise table flow and timing
  • Handle guest enquiries, special occasions, and feedback with care and professionalism
  • Ensure the reception area reflects IGNI’s standards at all times
  • Support with training and mentoring junior hosts, fostering a culture of excellence and consistency
  • Act as a key liaison between guests and the wider team, ensuring clear communication throughout service
