Description

Location: IGNI, Mayfair, London
Position: Full-Time Waiter / Waitress
Pay: Competitive hourly rate + shared service charge

About IGNI
IGNI, located in the heart of Mayfair, is the evolution of fire-led dining.

Led by Executive Chef Theo Clench and General Manager Gaelle Dubois, IGNI delivers an intimate and ambitious dining experience centred entirely around wood-fired cooking. Although we are a new restaurant and have not yet achieved a Michelin star, our standards, ambition and attention to detail are firmly rooted in the Michelin dining environment.

We are a small, close-knit team where everyone plays an important role. We work as one, support one another and share responsibility for creating an exceptional experience for every guest.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and polished Waiter or Waitress to join our front-of-house team.

This role is ideal for someone with fine-dining or high-end restaurant experience who wants to grow their skills in a Michelin-standard environment. You will work alongside our supervisors and management team, building your knowledge of food, wine and refined service, with clear opportunities to progress into a Senior Waiter or Head Waiter role as you develop.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, takes pride in the details and is excited to be part of a growing restaurant from the beginning.

  • The ability to stay calm, focused and positive during busy services
  • A reliable, punctual and responsible approach
  • A team-first attitude and a desire to be part of a small team that works as one
  • A strong interest in food, wine and the standards associated with Michelin-level dining
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback and keep improving

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, attentive and precise service at every stage of the guest journey
  • Look after your section with care while supporting the wider team on the floor
  • Develop excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients, wine and the IGNI concept
  • Guide guests through the menu with confidence and make thoughtful recommendations
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth timing
  • Maintain the highest standards of table presentation, cleanliness and mise en place
  • Support opening and closing procedures
  • Take part in training, tastings and briefings to continually build your skills
  • Contribute positively to a culture built on trust, accountability, excellence and teamwork

  • Ongoing training in service, food and wine
  • Clear opportunities for progression within the team
  • Delicious and wholesome team meals

  • A day off on your birthday
  • Annual Christmas party
  • Referral bonuses
