Biscuiteers is an award-winning luxury gifting brand, sometimes described as the ‘NET-A-PORTER of biscuits’. We launched in 2007 with the mission to offer a more unique, stylish and personalised gifting solution under the banner ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers?’ Every single biscuit is lovingly made from start to finish and each one is totally individual.
Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. We’ve grown enormously, particularly in the last 18 months. In 2020 alone, we hand-iced over 2.5 million biscuits and delivered them to customers all over the world.
As well as our eCommerce business, we have two biscuit boutiques, where we offer ‘School of Icing’ events, teaching our customers to ice like an expert, while they enjoy a cup of tea or coffee…or even a glass of Prosecco. We also work with a wide range of corporate clients, creating bespoke and branded designs for every occasion.
Located in the beautiful urban oasis of Eccleston Yards, just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Victoria, our third boutique opened its doors in November 2021.
Who we’re looking for…
We are now looking for a full-time Studio Kitchen Assistant to assist in the smooth running of our Belgravia kitchen and café.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a varied and interesting role, and the successful applicant will work 40-hours per week which will include working shifts across the weekdays and weekends and possibly some evening shifts.
Example of work pattern is Monday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday with Tuesday/Wednesday off.
Working as part of a team and following strict health & safety measures, you will…
- Prepare and mix the coloured icing for icing classes and corporate orders.
- Assist with packing our biscuits with care and attention if required.
- Assist with the food preparation of the afternoon teas such as making sandwiches, fillings and finished cakes.
- Ensure the Studio and kitchen spaces are clean and tidy after preparation and icing classes.
- Wash up and ensure the Boutique, Studio and kitchen are clean at all times.
- Support with other Studio and café duties as required.
You will need:
- The ability to work well under pressure and use initiative
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in a kitchen/café environment
- Some knowledge of packing and/or icing mixing would be preferable but not essential as training will be given
- A positive can-do attitude
- The ability to communicate effectively with all team members
- To be punctual and reliable
- A love of biscuits is a must!
