Biscuiteers is an award-winning luxury gifting brand, sometimes described as the ‘NET-A-PORTER of biscuits’. We launched in 2007 with the mission to offer a more unique, stylish and personalised gifting solution under the banner ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers?’ Every single biscuit is lovingly made from start to finish and each one is totally individual.
Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. We’ve grown enormously, particularly in the last 18 months. In 2022 alone, we hand-iced over 3.0 million biscuits and delivered them to customers all over the world.
As well as our eCommerce business, we have two biscuit boutiques, where we offer ‘School of Icing’ events, teaching our customers to ice like an expert, while they enjoy a cup of tea or coffee…or even a glass of Prosecco. We also work with a huge range of corporate clients, creating bespoke and branded designs for every occasion.
We’re ambitious and we’re looking to build and strengthen our wonderful team as the business continues to grow.
Who we’re looking for…
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cafe Assistant to join our beautiful Boutique & Icing Café in Belgravia.
As a key part of our dedicated team, you will assist the Boutique Manager in the successful running of the stores, making sure we meet targets and offer a great shopping experience to all our visitors.
This will involve working mainly Thursdays to Sundays in accordance with the shop opening hours, as agreed with the Manager.
- Demonstrating and delivering excellent customer service.
- Serving our customers with cafe service and the selling of products in our boutique.
- Driving Product sales to meet and exceed targets.
- Handling stock and processing deliveries.
- Ensuring the store is presented beautifully at all times.
- Be aware and trained where necessary of all the security procedures, such as H&S, hygiene and food safety.
- Working closely with the Boutique team to deliver all service and event requirements.
You will need…
Previous experience in a customer service role within in a café or restaurant environment, preferably for a premium luxury brand.
- A natural flair for customer engagement, and a passion for customer service.
- Confidence in communicating with customers and promoting sales.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive approach.
- Enthusiasm for the role and for Biscuiteers.
- A love of Biscuits is a must!
