Description

We are looking for high energy, self-driven kitchen operators that approach the craft with genuine hospitality. Cleanliness & sanitation with a business-first mentality will be most successful.  With multiple restaurant openings per year, a healthy growth plan is in place to challenge and motivate.  We promote a healthy and positive culture of accountability and approach every day with the attitude that it will be better than the day before. The only way to accomplish this is with direct, straightforward, and respectful feedback.  Our restaurant is centered around scratch food and cocktails that are familiar yet presented in a new & creative way. We locally source as much as we can and produce everything possible in house.

 

The ideal candidate is a seasoned chef with a background in high-volume, everything from scratch cooking. You will run an efficient kitchen by consistently looking to improve the menu, producing quality food, and working closely with restaurant managers in the overall food and beverage operations of the restaurant. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage finances for kitchen operations
  • Produce quality food
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers
  • Responsible purchasing and receiving with approved vendors
  • Maintain a clean & organized facility
  • Train junior personnel

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent & relevant industry training
  • 5+ years of kitchen experience
  • Experience in leading and supervising junior chefs
  • Experience working within budget parameters
  • Knowledge of Decision Logic, Hot Schedules, & Fusion Prep a plus

·         Awareness of preventative maintenance on all equipment

·         Plan ahead of time for each shift to ensure high levels of execution

·         Daily respectful communication with all team members

·         Engage with the guest experience during the service experience to ensure high levels of hospitality

·         Proactively ensure high quality of food and beverage during the service experience

·         Proactively seek high levels of restaurant cleanliness during the service experience

·         Proactively engage with staff members to resolve conflict
