As the Head Chef at Il Gattopardo, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the quality of food served meets the highest standards. Your role involves guiding and leading the kitchen brigade, maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment, and consistently promoting food safety practices. As the second-in-command to the Executive Chef, you will assist in shaping the kitchen's direction, managing the team, and supporting the culinary objectives of the restaurant. Your leadership and hands-on approach will ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly, food quality remains exceptional, and guest satisfaction is always prioritized.

Key Criteria:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-driven kitchen.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
• Passion for Italian cuisine with a deep understanding of traditional and modern techniques.
• Ability to maintain exceptional food quality and consistency under pressure.
• Expertise in kitchen operations, including stock control, budgeting, and cost management.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, collaborating effectively with front-of-house and management.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and availability for full-time, flexible work hours.
