What you’ll do

As an In-Room Dining Coordinator, you'll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • You will be responsible for delivering 5-star service by taking pride in everything they are doing while looking after all our guests needs. This includes mise-en-place of trolleys that will be delivered to guestrooms, delivering guest orders and requests, as well as understanding and getting to know our new guests and regular guests needs all this is to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
  • You’ll also show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests’ special requests or any challenges that may arise during the day and ensuring proper delivery according to the outlets Service SOP’s
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of in room dining supplies, ensuring everything is stocked and ready for use. To ensure that all transfers of beverages are completed in line with required standard.
  • Handle billing for in room dining orders, ensuring accurate charges are applied to guest accounts.

The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change. These currently set as:

  • 7AM - 3.45PM
  • 2.30PM - 11.15PM
  • 11PM - 7.45AM

What you’ll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in 5-star hotel service: Candidates should have spent at least one year working in in-room dining or a similar guest service role in a luxury setting.
  • Clear communication in English: They must be able to speak clearly in English and be confident when talking to guests.
  • Staying calm under pressure: They should remain composed when the work is busy or guests have special requests.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organization: It’s important to notice small things (like guest preferences) and keep tasks in order.
  • Good time-management and being organized: They need to manage multiple tasks, stay on schedule, and keep track of orders.
  • Polished personal appearance and professionalism: Presenting oneself neatly and behaving courteously is a must.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of food & beverage standards in luxury service: Familiarity with high-end dining service protocols and fine-dining expectations is a plus.
  • Understanding dietary needs and menu adaptations: Being able to discuss dietary requirements and suggest suitable menu options is helpful.
  • Discretion and experience serving high-profile guests: Understanding guest privacy and maintaining discretion is beneficial.
  • Tech-savvy and aptitude with order systems: Being confident using digital tools or order management systems can help.
  • Upselling skills and knowing guest preferences: The ability to suggest additional items and remember repeat guests’ likes is advantageous.
