Overview
Inhabit Queens Garden is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleaning staff and ensure all the facilities are clean, presentable, and welcoming to our guests.
The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team of housekeepers.
Key Responsibilities
· Passionate about creating positive experience and memories for the Montcalm guests.
· Ensure that all Hotel Guest rooms, and public areas are well maintained and meet the desired standards of cleanliness and presentation.
· Create and maintain good working relationships within the department and other outlets.
· Responsible for allocating room attendant lists and ensuring that all rooms and outlets are covered.
· Ensure the Room attendants have sufficient items and guest supplies for the day’s work.
· Take responsibility for the Room Attendants appearance and grooming standards.
· Ensure that where possible departure rooms are serviced first to enable a quick and efficient check in of all guests.
· Report any maintenance defects, using the correct procedures.
· Liaise with Reception regarding rooms moves, extra departures and any other special requests.
· Attend departmental meetings as and when required by your Head of Department
· Ensure the Rooms Attendant’s work lists are signed before finishing duty.
· Ensure all service areas are left in the correct manner, and all the housekeeping items have been returned to the correct area.
· Clear all sections before finishing duty and ensure a correct handover is completed
· To be responsible for the recording / issuing and safe keeping of all lost items.
