Isabel Mayfair is looking for professional Bartenders with previous experience in a luxury London restaurant/bar.
Nestled into an elegant pocket of central London, Isabel is a destination with a unique character that belies the more genteel nature of the area. Isabel’s signature style from lunch through until late night cocktails is complemented by an imaginative food and drink menu that derives from the essence and traditions of Modern European Mediterranean cuisines.
From every plate of food served and every drink poured, Isabel presents a vibrancy and style of its own. Look a little deeper and you will notice the subtle nuances that intersect the time-honoured grandeur of Mayfair with the fun, sensuality and glamour of the Mediterranean.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional and personalised guest service, maintaining the high standards expected in a luxury venue.
- Engage guests with confident product knowledge, explaining cocktails, spirits, wine, and menu recommendations.
- Ensure all drinks are presented to premium brand standards with attention to detail and consistency.
- Prepare classic cocktails, signature serves, and high-volume orders with speed and accuracy.
- Follow recipes precisely while also demonstrating creativity for bespoke guest requests.
- Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and quality across all drinks.
- Set up, operate, and close the bar efficiently, ensuring all mise-en-place is fully prepared.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
- Handle till operations, cash handling, and POS transactions accurately.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, requesting replenishment when required.
- Ensure all products are stored correctly to maintain quality.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations at all times.
- Ensure safe alcohol serving practices, including responsible service and refusal when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitary practices across the bar.
- Work closely with barbacks, FOH team and management to deliver seamless service.
About You:
- Proven bartending experience in luxury venues
- Knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktail techniques
- A warm, confident personality and excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and keep cool during busy shifts
- Passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail
- Contribute to a vibrant, energetic atmosphere aligned with a luxury setting.
