Assistant Bar Manager

We are looking for an experienced, charismatic, and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to join the team at Isabel Mayfair.

Isabel Mayfair is one of London’s most prestigious dining destinations, known for its vibrant fusion of Latin and Mediterranean cuisine, glamorous atmosphere, and exceptional late-night experience in our exclusive Dragon Room. Since opening in 2017, Isabel has become synonymous with refined hospitality in Mayfair.

The Assistant Bar Manager plays a key role in supporting the Bar Manager with the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar while helping create a vibrant, welcoming, and high-performing environment for both guests and team members.

This role requires a hands-on leader with exceptional hospitality standards, strong beverage knowledge, and the ability to inspire and develop a team within a fast-paced luxury venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in the daily operation of the bar
• Lead, motivate, and develop the bar team
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain Isabel’s high service standards
• Ensure the bar is organised, fully stocked, and compliant with health & safety procedures
• Assist with rotas, stock control, and overall team performance
• Maintain a warm, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere throughout service
• Handle guest feedback professionally and efficiently
• Support the financial and operational performance of the venue

About You

• Previous experience in a premium or luxury hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar operations
• Natural leadership and team development skills
• Charismatic and confident floor presence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
• Financial awareness including stock control and labour management
• Computer literate with POS system knowledge
• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Able to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards
