The Operations Partners at (d.b.a Jersey Mike’s) perform a variety of supervisory, professional, managerial duties in the operation of the establishment. These duties include, but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, coaching, scheduling, and determining the rates of pay for subordinate employees. The position is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations at the Jersey Mike’s establishment including financial results, quality control, employee management, and the staff’s delivery of quality product and service to patrons. The expectation of any employee is to uphold the highest level of all of Jersey Mike’s Subs operational standards. The Operations Partner is generally responsible to perform and/or oversee the following:

o Sales and net operating profit of the business
o Administration of operations activities
o Compliance with standard policies and procedures
o Crew Members administration
o Maintenance and repair of equipment using approved vendors 

o Quality control and food safety

o Security and protection of company assets

o Compliance with all city, state, and federal codes and laws

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the satisfactory accomplishment of the following essential duties. Specific tasks may be delegated to individual Crew Members as appropriate, but ultimate responsibility and accountability rests with the Operations Partner.

o Develop sales volume and profit margin. This duty will be best accomplished through the application of these methods:

o Maintain excellence in customer relations
o Maintain a high level of competence in all Crew Members through ongoing education (JM Learning Management System among other methods) and good employee relations.

o Require a clean, neat and respectful appearance of all Crew Members in accordance with company policy on such appearances.

o Assure that all Crew Members are aware of, and fully support, all advertising, sales promotions, and public relations programs.

o Administration of Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc. and , LLC.’s Operating Policies

Responsible for enforcing Compliance with Standard Policies and Procedures:

o Crew Member Administration
o Supervise training and evaluation of all Crew Members
o The Operations Partner will constantly monitor the business to assure that Jersey Mike’s Franchise System, Inc.’s and , LLC’s quality standards for food preparation and service to customers are strictly adhered to.

o Establishing and maintaining standards of excellence in food preparation, packaging, and customer service by following Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc.’s, and , LLC’s, policies and procedures.

o Maintaining cleanliness in the appearance of Crew Members, seating area, food preparation area, and exterior of the restaurant at all times.

o Security and Protection of Company Assets

The Operations Partner will require adherence to established security procedures:

o Storage, handling, and banking of cash.
o Active control and security of equipment and inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

o Considerable skill and knowledge in the art and process of Crew Members relations; cooperative problem solving; and leadership management

o Experience and Ability to demonstrate effective leadership practices; communicate effectively; make basic decisions where established procedures do not always apply; operate a computer and apply various program applications both proprietary and non- proprietary to JM Franchise Systems, Inc. and, LLC.

o Must have a vehicle to utilize for work-related travel.
