Jersey Mike’s Subs in Rowlett is looking for friendly, dependable Crew Members who are available to work daytime shifts during the week.

This is a great opportunity whether you already have restaurant experience, are looking for your first job, or want to build skills that can lead to future advancement. Experience is helpful, but it is not required—we will train someone who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Our restaurant has a close-knit, family-style team led by an experienced Store Manager. We work hard, support one another, stay busy, and take pride in giving every customer a great experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Crew Member, you’ll learn every part of running a successful Jersey Mike’s shift, including:

Greet customers and provide friendly, genuine service
Take orders and operate the register accurately
Prepare fresh subs according to Jersey Mike’s recipes and standards
Work the grill and assist with food preparation
Slice meats and cheeses if you are at least 18 and properly trained
Restock ingredients, supplies, and workstations
Wash dishes and maintain clean dining, kitchen, and restroom areas
Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
Help with catering orders and other restaurant needs
Stay productive by noticing what needs to be done and helping without always being asked
Support your teammates during busy periods
Complete required training and work toward proficiency in every restaurant position

This is an active, fast-paced job. Team members are expected to remain engaged, help wherever needed, and contribute throughout the entire shift.

What We’re Looking For

Must be at least 16 years old
Weekday daytime availability is required
Weekend and holiday availability is also needed
Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
Able to take initiative and stay productive
Works well as part of a team
Willing to learn and accept coaching
Able to maintain speed without sacrificing quality or accuracy
Reliable transportation to our Rowlett location
Restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not required
Must meet applicable requirements before operating restaurant equipment
Willing to complete required food-handler and Jersey Mike’s training

Pay, Benefits, and Perks

Starting pay of $10.50–$12.00 per hour, based on experience
Eligibility to receive tips after earning 100% on the menu test

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

Stand and move throughout most of the shift
Bend, reach, lift, carry, clean, and restock
Work safely around hot cooking equipment and sharp tools
Perform normal restaurant duties in a busy environment
Lift and carry restaurant supplies as needed
