Competitive hourly base ($20-24/hr) pay plus tips. Tips currently average approximately $4 per hour but may vary by shift and volume. Overtime is paid in accordance with Massachusetts law.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead crew members during assigned shifts in a fast-paced environment
Work all stations including slicer, grill, register, and prep as needed
Ensure food is prepared accurately and consistently to Jersey Mike’s standards
Maintain speed, cleanliness, and organization throughout the shift
Support customer service and help resolve guest concerns in real time
Coach and support crew members on procedures and expectations
Help manage shift flow, productivity, and teamwork during rushes
Assist with cash handling and drawer counts when assigned
Support inventory rotation, prep, and cleanliness standards
Assist with opening or closing procedures depending on schedule
What We’re Looking For
Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency
Comfortable working hands-on and on your feet for the entire shift
Leadership ability through attitude, effort, or prior experience
Ability to stay focused and decisive during busy periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and accountable
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Availability for weekends and some holidays
Prior food service experience is preferred but not required. We are open to training the right person who wants to step into leadership.

The Shift Leader role is a hands-on leadership position focused on running smooth, fast-paced shifts. This is a working role on the floor, not a desk position. It’s ideal for someone who brings urgency, accountability, and a team-first mindset and wants to grow into higher leadership over time.
