Job Summary:

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking an energetic, experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and help oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, an eye for quality, and the ability to inspire and develop a team. Job Responsibilities:

·       Take an active role support the GM in the total management of our Jersey Mike's store, ensuring smooth operations and a positive dining experience.

·       Maintain rigorous standards of quality control to uphold the brand's reputation.

·       Manage store administration effectively and efficiently.

·       Prepare and present accurate weekly and monthly reports.

·       Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring friendly and attentive service.

·       Foster a team-oriented atmosphere while building and maintaining a strong team.

·       Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure efficient labor utilization.

·       Implement and refine store procedures to enhance operations.

·       Manage ordering and inventory to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.

·       Conduct staff training to ensure employees are well-equipped to deliver top-notch service.

Skills:

·       Exceptional interpersonal relations, with the ability to continually teach, coach, and motivate staff.

·       Proven leadership and supervisory skills with a track record of dependability.

·       Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·       Commitment to excellence in customer service.

·       Extremely professional appearance and demeanor.

·       Excellent organizational skills, with a proficiency in math and currency aptitude

Basic Requirements:

·       Robust communication skills, with a self-motivated and service-oriented attitude.

·       Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively with a team.

·       Willingness and capability to learn skills quickly.

·       Strong sense of cleanliness and organizational prowess.

·       Prior food service experience is a plus but not mandatory.

·       Demonstrated capability to lead and excel within Jersey Mike's process.

 

Leadership Expectations:

·       Address customer concerns promptly and effectively to prevent any negative impact on the brand.

·       Regularly supervise and direct employees during work hours, maintaining high standards.

·       Exercise discretion and independent judgment in executing duties and responsibilities.

·       Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to motivate staff and enhance their skills.

·       Evaluate employee performance and hold team members accountable for meeting established standards.

·       Make informed employment decisions, including hiring, discipline, promotion, termination, and compensation.
